Norlec marks a move back into the Transport Sector

Norlec have just delivered the first propulsion & transformer fabricated steel cases to Italy
for the upgrading of the West Coast Main Line Pendolino Trains. When the West Coast Main Line was originally equipped

with New Pendolino Trains, Norlec produced all the engine cases for Alstom in Preston back in 2002/2003.

The latest production of new trains & upgrading existing carriages required the same products, however the producer
is now in Italy. The experience and knowledge still retained at Norlec in Leyland has stood them in good stead to win the

latest order. This marks a move back into the Transport Sector where there is now considerable activity predicted for the next few years.
